What is 'Print Quality'?
In order for a printed product to obtain its maximum level of quality, Phunkemedia insists that any images used are to be of 'Print Quality'. If you are printing a brochure for example, your logo will need to be at least 300dpi, or provided as a vector file. When designing a website, images need to be a minimum of 72dpi, at the size the image needs to be displayed at.
The reason for this insistence of correct dpi is due to the fact that a lower dpi image will almost always be blurry and unreadable. We want our clients to have a quality product, which cannot be achieved by using sub-standard material.
